One week, 1000kms Off road in the GS Wonderland 

In February, while central and northern Europe is under bitterly cold winter days, Algarve offers temperatures around 12ºC-25ºC with the sun shining bright in the clear blue sky during most of the days, perfect conditions to enjoy an amazing week’s riding fun.

We gathered the most amazing gravel roads in the south of Portugal to show you the truly authentic GS wonderland.
You will ride the full extension of the 2006 and 2007 Dakar Rally stages, enjoy the twisty mountain gravel roads made famous by the Portugal WRC Rally, and be amazed by the stunning tracks along the ocean cliffs os the Atlantic Coast.

Our staff of certified BMW Motorrad International Instructors will guide you through 200kms/125 miles day loops in gravel roads surrounded by wild flowers cork trees and shore cliffs.

Our day will start with a buffet breakfast. Lunch breaks take place in typical restaurants. During the day the support car will meet us in the asphalt crossings to provide water and energy snacks. With a Privileged cliff top location just over the beautiful São Rafael beach and enjoying breathtaking views of the Ocean, the 5 star São Rafael Atlantic Hotel will be our base for all the program.

The Douro Valley, were wine has been produced by traditional landholders for more than 2000 years, is our base to explore the unbelievable off road wonderland of northern Portugal mountains.

One week, 1000kms in gravel roads under the warm colours of Autumm. What gives this region a special character is its geography and climate. It is due to its special climatic conditions that this valley has become the birth of one of the world’s most well-known drinks, port wine.The Douro has its own micro-climate. The long mountain range along the west of this region protects the valley from the cold and humid winds that sweep in from the Atlantic, creating drier conditions than along the coast, in November, while central and northern Europe is under bitterly cold winter days, Douro Valley offers temperatures around from 10ºC to 20ºC with the sun shining bright in the clear blue sky during most of the days, perfect conditions to enjoy an amazing week’s riding fun.
