TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. TRAVEL GUARANTEE
As a legal entity, Alkemist Adventures s.r.o., owner of Alkemist Adventures, operates under the European travel guarantee laws to protect its travellers.
2. RESERVATION PROCESS
Registration: your registration reserves you a place on the tour and no payment will be required in this stage. The number of persons on the tour is limited, so reservations are made by order of entry.
3. PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Payment Methods: Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. accepts payments via PayPal and international bank transfers.
After booking you will receive a confirmation with a registration fee invoice for 35% of the tour value. This must be paid within 7 days. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the trip. If you book 30 days before the trip, the total amount must be paid within 7 days of receiving the confirmation.
Payment Delay: after being notified to make a payment, if payment is not fulfilled, Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. ceases to secure your place and reserves the right to cancel your reservation.
Custom payments: we can accept payment in instalments. Please contact us to discuss a solution at your convenience.
4. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of an Alkemist Adventures Tour:
If we cancel the tour; all participants will be reimbursed the full amount that they have paid so far.
Cancellation by the participant:
When cancelling more than 30 days before the trip, the participant must pay the registration fee as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation 30-14 days before the trip: 50 % of the full amount.
Cancellation less than 14 days before the trip: full amount, no refund.
Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. can cancel the tour up to 30 days beforehand in case of an insufficient number of participants. In this case, the customer will be immediately notified and your payments will be fully refunded, which constitutes full settlement.
Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. reserves the right to cancel or stop a tour if, for any reason the safety or comfort of the participants are not guaranteed on the tour route, including force majeure such as riots, floods, earthquakes, etc. We recommend taking out a travel insurance that covers the costs of a possible cancellation of the tour.
5. MOTORCYCLE HIRE FOR AN ALKEMIST ADVENTURES TOUR
In the case of motorcycle rental, it is necessary to sign a rental contract for the use of the motorcycle. This contract is with Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. and it is essential for the pilot to be legally authorized to drive the vehicle used in the tour. The compulsory excess or deposit for motorcycle rental is detailed in the rental terms & conditions.
Motorcycle use limits: the motorcycles included in the tour package are limited to travel only in the scope and course of the tour. The use of the motorcycle outside the described route or private use on rest days and/or at the end of the daily stages are not included and will not be permitted.
Spare Motorcycle: the spare motorcycle will be used free of charge if there is a mechanical breakdown. During the tour, Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. is not obliged to replace a motorcycle damaged by a fall or accident.
Safety: personal and group safety is a priority for Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. The use of the motorcycle in a reckless manner and disregarding the rules of transit or of the tour will not be tolerated and will lead to an immediate suspension of the pilot, with the motorcycle locked.
6. INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Included: all accommodation with breakfast, all dinners and all lunches in the program, use of the Spa circuit, BMW motorcycle rental (if booked), motorcycle guide and support vehicle.
If you are travelling alone but want to share a room, Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. will try to find you a roommate who is in the same situation. If Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. is unable to find a roommate, you will be charged extra for a single room.
Not included in the Alkemist Tour: flights, drinks and personal expenses of any kind.
7. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance: To participate in an Alkemist Adventures Tour, each participant must take out travel insurance in your country of residence that does not exclude the motorcycle as a means of transport and to ensure medical and health care with repatriation to their country of residence in case of an emergency.
8. RULES DURING THE TOUR
In the initial briefing, the basic rules will be communicated to the group during the tour.
Failure to follow these rules and the instructions of any Alkemist Adventures Tour staff member in a way that compromises individual safety or any other member of the group will result in the immediate suspension of the participant.
These are the general rules for an Alkemist Adventures Tour:
• Do not exceed the instructions of the tour guide;
• Do not leave the road and maintain sight of the support vehicle;
• Respect the traffic rules and local speed limits;
• Do not consume alcoholic beverages during the tour stages;
• Comply with the schedule established in the daily briefing;
• Respect the instructions and decisions of the tour guide and instructors.
9. CHANGES TO THE TOUR CALENDAR
The tours operate seasonally. Conditions and weather may vary and the state of the roads can lead to changes to the tour and route, which shall be adjusted with the use of alternative routes and rest stops.
10. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
Valid passport: you must have a valid passport or European ID to participate in an Alkemist Adventures Tour.
International driver's licence: mandatory for all non-European riders.
Credit Card: required for conducting insurance franchises in fulfilling the rental agreement of the motorcycle that is used on the tour. We recommend VISA or MasterCard; American Express is not accepted.
Travel Visa: the application for visas is the responsibility of each participant; consult Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. to find out the specific requirements for your nationality.
11. TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY
Each participant must take out travel insurance in their country of residence that does not exclude the motorcycle as a means of transport and to ensure health care with repatriation to their country of residence in case of an accident or medical emergency. This insurance must be valid in all the countries where the tour takes place. A copy of your insurance policy must be handed to the tour guide at the initial briefing.
12. PHOTO AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT
The photos and videos produced by Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. during the tour are the property of Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. Copyright is held by Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. is authorized to use all this material for advertising and marketing purposes, including images in which individual members of the tours can be recognized, and the member is not entitled to make a claim against Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. for the use of this material.
13. STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY
Riding a motorcycle is an activity that has a high risk. At the beginning of an Alkemist Adventures Tour, each participant will be asked to complete and sign a liability statement recognizing that Alkemist Adventures s.r.o. and its owners, employees and agents are not safety guardians of any of the customer and that they, individually or collectively, will not be responsible in any way for any occurrence related to accidents that could result in injury, death or damage to the customer, your property, your family, heirs or assignees.
This document includes a field where you should fill in the details of an emergency contact from your country of origin, their contact details and details of your travel insurance policy.
14. GUESTS AND THE RIDER'S FAMILY
The supplement for guests and the rider’s family is per person (+ 12 years old). The guests supplement includes full board in hotel restaurants, drinks are not included. If you want to bring children under 12 years old, please indicate that in the comments box in the booking form. Children under 16 years old are not allowed in the Spa Circuit, though they can use one of the indoor pools.
15. ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Read the conditions described above carefully and clarify any doubts. Confirming your reservation and sending the booking confirmation form also confirms the acceptance of these conditions.
